Working with education settings, parents and carers to ensure their autistic young people are nurtured and affirmed.
Packages of Support
We offer support in various ways to education settings, individual education staff members and parents/carers and families.
In all cases, the packages outlined here are examples of what support could be possible and give an idea of pricing start points.
If you do not see what you or your setting would like or if you have a specific price limit we are always willing to try and create suitable bespoke packages or carefully priced offers.
In the North East, we can work face to face or online in all cases. Throughout the rest of the UK we can provide a range of online services. At present, we are not able to work overseas.
Family Support Offers:
We can support in a range of ways including:
- observing and reporting on young people's presentation in school
- support to advocate for your young person's needs in school
- independent reporting towards Education Health Care Needs Assessments
- working directly with young people to understand their diagnosis and what autism means for them individually
- supporting parents and carers to understand a diagnosis and to feel empowered to support their young person appropriately
- supporting wider family in their understanding and acceptance of a diagnosis
- support to set up systems, boundaries and ways of living for everyone in your home to ease tensions, balance everyone's regulation and provide a bluprint to develop as things change over time
Sessions can be a one off or a series of 6 or 8 visits (or more) dependent on the work to be completed.
Prior to any involvement we advise a FREE 15 minute initial call to discuss individual needs, plan any input and agree whether our involvement is suitable.
Following that initial meeting the hourly rate for family support starts from £90 but specific pricing will depend on the work undertaken and whether there are written reports needed and so on. There is a charge for travel time and mileage for anything over 15miles from our base.

Education Setting Support Offers:
We can support in a range of ways including:
- observing and reporting on young people's presentation in classrooms, throughout the school day or with a particular focus on times that have been noted to be challenging e.g. during transitions
- observation of a class or a cohort with a focus on then planning for the learning environment, support strategies and developing the inclusive culture of the group
- modelling in class strategies and adaptations to staff
- staff training sessions on any number of topics e.g understanding autism, support strategies for in the classroom, developing an inclusive setting, or a completely bespoke session dependent on staff needs and priorities
- staff drop in sessions to support with specific queries and provide bespoke support to each staff member
- support with target setting and evaluation
- working directly with individual young people to understand their diagnosis and what autism means for them individually
- working directly with groups of young people to support their skills development in various areas whilst respecting their autistic communication
- support to write and check policies are neuroaffirming and appropriate
- support to ensure reasonable adjustments are made and are appropriate
Sessions can be a one off or a series of 6 or 8 visits (or more) or a visit once every half term or something else to suit dependent on the work to be completed.
